I'm afraid I've been a ManU supporter since the mid-80s (college friend was from Manchester), so switching now - in the hopes of adding higher levels of disappointment to my life - just doesn't seem prudent.

Still, thanks for thinking of me (and my obviously too-low levels of stress).

A man who knows his footy. Didn't realise you were a fan Tom. If you're looking for a great team to support with a wonderful long history, try Sheffield Wednesday. Just don't expect to be a happy supporter.

About as grim as Man United's chances of retaining the championship.

Not right now. Every other part of the world is getting snow, yet we're getting warm temps (high 40s) and the small amount of snow in the yard has long since melted away.

Given California's dependence on snowpack for it water, I'd say it's looking a little grim (again)....

Funny Tom, that's exactly what I thought. It's really wierd to zoom in and see these ghostly patches of grey where cities lie. Never seen snow like it in my lifetime, though I imagine it's pretty normal for the PNW.
