This is my largest trout. A male brownie, but unfortunately not weighed with scales. He was exactly 23" in length, and realistic guesses are in the region of 4.5lb. My fishing rod broke as he came over the net, and I've never fixed it. The broken tip lies with my fishing gear as homage to an unbelievable afternoon on May 2nd, 2005.
