A Woolly Hat

Another woolly item worth having is a hat. My ma knitted one for me last summer and despite initial skepticism it has proven to be as warm and comfortable as any shop-bought rip off. I love the fact that no one else owns one quite like it. Personality folks, even in a hat, is important. If you want to buy one of these, you’ll have to undergo some kind of quantum-chronotic shift and become Mr. Tamanawis, for mum only makes hats for me.

If you’re a real gear luster, well then I’d have to recommend a Polar Buff as well. Mine is camo-green and helps me hide from fish. It’s also terrific when worn balaclava style over your head to block out the wind. Together with the aforementioned wooly hat you’ve got a seriously sweet head protection system.
