Welcome to the trees pages. In this wee corner of Tamanawis I will be keeping a record of my forays into matters horticultural. I’m starting out as a man who knows what some of the really obvious trees look like, your silver birch, oak and weeping willow, but who has no idea about most of the leafy splendour to be encountered by the riverbank and in the glen. I’m hoping to learn a new tree each time I go out, and keep a diary of that journey here. If you can learn with me, I’d be delighted.
